On Thursday, August 27, 2009 we unveiled the
drawings of our future visitor center.

Necedah National Wildlife Refuge held a special event to unveil the new visitor center
building design and site plan on Thursday, August 27, 2009 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. at
the construction site, near the Refuge Office.  

Honored guests that helped celebrate this special event included State Senator Dale
Schultz, Senator Kohl's aide Kim Cates, Senator Feingold's aide Katie Crawley,
Congressman Ron Kind, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Deputy Director Rowan Gould,
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Region 3 Director Tom Melius, and Friends of Necedah
